DOT physical exam consists of the following exams::

Analysing your medical history and your current health status to make sure that you are physically fit to operate a commercial vehicle.
The physical exam covers different categories, here are a few examples, Eyes, Ears, Heart, Spine, Extremities, urinalysis, and more.
For the vision test, drivers need to have a 20/40 in each eye, as well as 70” peripheral in the horizontal meridian in each eye. The hearing exam tests the driver's ability to hear a “forced whisper” at 5ft or less.
The exam also includes checking your blood pressure and pulse to make sure there are no irregularities.
Also a urinalysis is required to look for underlying medical conditions.
